Six female dancers in striking red costume will move among the pews, Jeyasingh’s choreography reflecting the solemn power of the historic setting and the calm introspection such a venue evokes. Music will be Tenebrae Responsories, a mesmerising choral masterpiece, remixed by sound artist, Cassiel.

Jeyasingh is internationally recognised as one of Britain’s most interesting and innovative choreographers. An accomplished dancer of both contemporary techniques and Bharata Natyam, a classical Indian dance form, she has always created high quality works that draw inspiration from multiculturalism and the life experiences that connect different groups of people together.

This will be an amazing opportunity to see world-class dance in beautiful surroundings for free – hope to see you there!
