NEW VIDEO: Aloe Blacc - “I’m The Man”

I don’t think many would blame you for assuming Aloe Blacc’s “I Need A Dollar” was going to be the last time we heard from him- it screamed one hit wonder, and until last years mega smash “Wake Me Up” I thought he’d proved us right. Well he’s not trying to leave you guessing this time as he’s emerged again with another radio ready smash “I’m The Man”. Now aside from the fact this borrows almost illegally from Elton John’s “Your Song” this is a tune! The punchy lyric and delivery serve as a hint to Aloe’s past as a rapper. The video itself features various references to yesteryear- with civil rights protests featuring heavily. I don’t recognise a major plot as such but its hard to deny how good the track is.
