China is the most rapidly developing, emerging market in the world and Nokia's power move  taps into this market,  making sure that Nokia MixRadio is the first global music streaming service available in the nation.

“Nokia believes that music should cross boundaries and interchange globally. Apart from bringing the best Western music to the East, Nokia MixRadio will act as an international platform for local artists to share their music with the rest of the world. China has such monumental heritage in music," stated Jyrki Rosenberg, Nokia's VP of Entertainment.

At the event, attendees were also able to try MixRadio for themselves, including Mixes curated by the UK based Musicologists, and well as the noteworthy Music Discovery and that little PlayMe button.
