AACDD (African and African-Carribean Design Diaspora) Festival 2013
It is once again another year to celebrate creative talents emerging from the diaspora as the AACDD (African and African-Carribean Design Diaspora) festival 2013 is about to begin as part of the upcoming London Design Festival, each year the festival is held at Bargehouse in Southbank London an open space that frequently showcases work of artists and designers from all walks of life. The festival has been held consecutively at this venue for the past four years and is still going strong, works that are included in the festival come from artists and designers both hailing from the UK and overseas. A diverse show of work is bound to be on display from art installations, textiles, furniture, interior design, ceramics, graphic design and so much more.
The festival begins on the 17th of September and runs through to the 23rd, this showcase of talent is not one to be missed. It is free for admittance during the course of the festival and we all know the toll expenses take on our wallets living in London, I know I do.
