FASHION: A Menswear Retrospect via Life Magazine

I stumbled across this post from Messy Nessy Chic and was absolutely captivated by it. Of course these young men's style is what attracted me at first but when I started reading about the context of this shoot I thought it was important for me to share with my Street Gypsies family. Life Magazine decided to visit the community of Watts a year after the riot in the black community caused by being treated unfairly and suffering racial profiling and brutality daily in the hands of cops; and out of that became and incredible story and this amazing spread showing us that style transcends and is truly eternal.
