HEADS UP: 'Spirits of Rebellion,' Film Doc About L.A. Rebellion Film Movement (2014).

From Zeinabu Davis' YouTube channel:

This is a trailer for an hour long documentary about the LA Rebellion filmmakers, primarily a group of Black filmmakers who attended UCLA's film school between the Uprisings in 1965 in Watts to Rodney King in 1992. There will be over 50 films by the LA Rebellion Filmmakers that will be screened between October and December 2011. We really need your support to keep working on the video.

Please visit our IndieGogo campaign at: http://www.indiegogo.com/Spirits-of-R... and check out our blog at: http://spiritsofrebellion.wordpress.com/

This is an exciting project that I first learned about via the 'Shadow and Act' blog.

Definitely support this movement if you can! Share the links! Spread the word! This is an important documentation of history in film, that we must see through to it's creation.
