Janelle Monae covers Jimi Hendrix "Little Wing" on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon. This track taken from his new album People, Hell and Angels which made it's debut at number 2 on the billboard charts jut shows how much of a genius the man really was. No doubt that Ms Monáe can sing her heart out and put on a killer performance but I have to say her guitarist Kellindo Parker brought Jimi to this performance for me, Mr Hendrix who past away September 18, 1970 was a beast on the electric guitarists so he had no choice but to bring it; and that he did. very well done Kellindo.
Janelle will be playing Coachella this year and has a new album on the way very soon. We cannot wait.
