Kode9 released his new track, Xingfu-Lu, this week to wide critical acclaim. The DJ, owner of Hyperdub record label, Ph.D Philosophy graduate and human being usually brings something fresh to electronic music (and the universe in general) and this beautifully off-kilter single does not disappoint.

Ticking polyrhythms and an unnervingly off-key, analogue synth that sounds like an alien worm burrowing into your consciousness  – it’s catchy to say the least, though just as complex and intelligent as you’d expect a Kode9 track to be.
