Nokia MixRadio Brings us the First Ever Online Steaming of The BRIT Awards
Incase you have not been paying much attention to TV, Radio, Billboards or every other advertising medium in England, The BRIT Awards is on tonight! The 02 Arena will be host to the who's who of the entertainment industry (yes we will be in the house!). Incase you are not lucky enough to get your hand on a golden ticket - The kind people over at Nokia MixRadio HQ have teamed up with The BRIT Awards to give the public a chance to watch the awards ceremony online.
Nokia MixRadio, the official online partner for the BRIT Awards 2014 will be hosting the BRIT Awards Social Wall with a live YouTube feed for the first time, including exclusive backstage content and red carpet action - that means you can join Bruno Mars, Rudimental, Bastille or Arctic Monkeys right from the comfort of your living room.
Speaking in advance of the event, VP of Nokia Entertainment, Jyrki Rosenberg, said: “British music has blazed a trail across the globe for decades, so we are thrilled to be sharing the best of the current British music scene with music lovers all over the world. We look forward to helping Nokia MixRadio listeners across 5 continents discover more great British music through this partnership.”
Nokia MixRadio musicologists have also curated 12 Brit Awards themed mixes, which are available on a Lumia device or by checking out themixrad.io/ website.
The partnership also sees Nokia MixRadio partner with Roc Nation and Three Six Zero to host an exclusive invite only after-party, taking place at upscale restaurant Hakkasan - yes we will be there too, ok ill stop now :-). Enjoy the awards.
