OLD: Womack and Womack's 'Teardrops'

Let's rewind to 1998 with the classic Womack and Womack song, Teardrops; the song was a release from the American duo's fourth studio album, Conscience. The singers, Cecil and Linda Womack, penned the song under the pseudonym of Dr Rue & The Gypsy Wave Banner; they also served as producers of the track alongside Chris Blackwell. The song was a hit all around the world, and in 1998 Lovestation's cover of the hit became a mega club anthem.
