PERFORMANCE: Jacob Banks Performs "Rainy Day" Live on The Jools Holland Show
My first time seeing newcomer Jacob Banks perform live as the warm-up act for Emeli Sande he blew me away, you know the saying "you have an old soul" well that is what I feel each time I listen to this young man perform; his voice is matured far beyond his years. His soulful husky tone sits perfectly between the late Lyndon David Hall and Tottenham's own Lemar with a more youthful edge. The Birmingham native is managed by the same force behind Wretch 32's success so we know barriers will be broken down.
This will be his Jacob Banks first TV appearance and what other platform to debut than Later … With Jools Holland. Watch Jacob as he serenades the audience with his performance of "Rainy Day" (taken from his EP The Monologue) accompany by a full band.
Jools holland will be on Tonight on BBC2 at 11pm, tune in for a full length version of "Rainy Days"
