PERFORMANCE: Rokia Traoré Performs 'Kouma' on Later... with Jools Holland

This week Rokia Traoré took to the stage of BBC2’s Later... with Jools Holland with a magnetic performance. The critically acclaimed Malian singer performed her latest single Kouma; from her recently released album Beautiful Africa.

I really love the rock element to this song and in fact Traoré's latest album as a whole (those guitar riffs + her stunning voice = magic); and although I don’t understand the Bambara language that this song is sung in, it still manages to stir me. Enjoy!
