MUSIC: Eric Bellinger Teams Up with Jhene Aiko

Another day and another songwriter aiming for centre stage. This time it’s Eric Bellinger- who could argue that this music game is in his blood- his Grandad got to number 2 on the billboard charts in 1958 with “Rockin Robin” (later recorded by Michael Jackson). Eric is known for penning hits including my favourite Usher song of recent times “Lemme See” as well as new Chris Brown single “Fine China”. “Ex Again” sees Eric team up with girl of the moment Jhene Aiko for the moody mellow jam. Eric’s got a real laid back feel to his voice that works perfectly with Jhene’s sweet tone. Produced by Drake’s frequent partner in crime Noah “40” Shebib it’s a promising direction for the singer/songwriter.
