Thought I'd share with you guys the highlight of my year so far. Yes I do know its still only February, which is why I am so excited.

Not only am I a new member of The Street Gypsies team, I had the pleasure of styling 'The Noisettes' for The BAFTA's which took place at The Opera House and The Grosvenor Hotel on Sunday 10th February 2013.

The Noisettes are an English indie band from London, composed of lead singer and bassist Shingai Shoniwa and guitarist Dan Smith. The band first achieved commercial success and nationwide recognition reaching number two in the UK Singles Chart with single "Don't Upset the Rhythm".

The BAFTA's was attended by A-listers Samuel L Jackson, Quentin Tarrentino, Sarah Jessica Parker, Ben Affleck, Anne Hathaway and the list goes on. They were all waiting for 'The Noisettes' stage performance at The Grosvenor Hotel which I must say was FANTASTIC,  they did not dissapoint. Shingai has so much energy and such a powerful vocal range, with Dan pulling the guitar strings with power and conviction. The two of them along with their band brought the crowd of celebrities to the dance floor, dancing to their classics which was infused with a mix of afro beats.

Styling The Noisettes was so much fun as Shingai has such a strong sense of style and is absolutely beautiful, everything looked nothing less than amazing on her. Dan Smith has such an eclectic style also, they compliment each other so well.

I had Shingai dressed for her first red carpet appearance in designer Romero Bryan “Heroa” Swarovski crystal gown.  The cluth bag was from Angel Jackson, jewellery from Zara Taylor and shoes from Bernard Chandran. Dan wore a three quarter length jacket from Paul Costelloe, shirt from Lambretta, Topman Trousers, Herring Shoes, Storm watch, Zara belt and topped with a bow tie from Paul Costelloe. They both looked exquisite.

For the second red carpet outfit Shingai Shoniwa wowed the crowd with a sheer embroidered jumpsuit from Temperley wearing shoes from Chinese Laundry, jewellery from vintage accessory designer Zara Taylor and flower hair piece from Scarlet Rage vintage. I dressed Dan Smith in a colourful paisley printed Topman blazer, a Lambretta shirt, styled with purple suede Herring shoes.

For The Noisettes rehearsals and interview which was both filmed by DISARONNO who were the sponsors for The BAFTA's afterparty. Shingai wore a tailored suit from ESCADA, shoes by SEE by CHLOE and then a crystal collar by Anita Quansah and lace dress by Ashley Isham.

Finally for stage performance I dressed Shingai in a silver dress by Andrew Majtenyi, shoes from BCBG, jewellery by Zara Taylor, millinery by Monique Luttin, flower hair piece by Scarlet Rage Vintage topped with Shingai's own African print trench coat. Dan wore an electric blue velvet blue blazer and animal print collar shirt from Topman, mixed with trousers from Lambretta, watch from Storm and shoes from Herring. They totally rocked the stage and complimented eachother throughout the evening in everyway.

Watch the video attached and feel the vibrant energy from The Noisettes and how amazing The BAFTA's was that evening, enjoy xx
