FRESH: Surf Liquor Brings Californian To The UK With SS14 Collection

First off, For those of you who aren't familiar, Surf Liquor is a streetwear brand that blends laid back California living with 70's surf and skate culture. Well they have hit the UK shores and I'm mad excited to resume my skating lessons (I started in Brooklyn, NYC and never practiced my tricks). The collection includes  some crazy cool Tees, Jackets and Jumpers for the fashion conscious skaters, but my favourite from the collection has to be the "Cruiser Decks" fully equipped with Cadillac Wheels (yes you read right!!) What a beauty! anyway enough of me, check them out below.

Whilst travelling, skating and surfing the world, Surf Liquor founder ‘Jonathan Cosserat’ saw his road trip come to a halt on the sunny West Coast of carefree California where he found himself spent out! Fascinated by the culture, the lifestyle and community of the area, Jon took up work at an old sun bleached ‘Liquor Store’, which ultimately provided the name and inspiration for what has now become the premium streetwear brand, ‘Surf Liquor’. Drawing all of its identity and character from the laid back ‘Golden State’ way of life, the brand has become the perfect blend of classic Americana and Vintage Skate and Surfwear from back in the day. The full collection for SS14 continues to reign amongst its US home of sand and palms and with our thirst for skate trends, not to mention all things 70’s, Surf Liquor has now hit our UK shores and stores!

As part of the Surf Liquor’s SS14 collection, the brand have introduced their 1970’s style, custom-made ‘Cruiser’ decks for us all to ‘cruise’ to work on. Made in California, these penny-style boards bring even more of the old school Californian beach front vibe to the streets of London!
