Born in Denham Town, Kingston, my journey started early when I embarked on an adventure to London with my seamstress mother. The rhythmic hum of a sewing machine became my fascination, igniting a lifelong passion for the beauty it could create. Bright colors that trapped sunlight and clothes that moved with a life of their own captivated me.
This fascination with movement guided me into the realms of choreography and professional dance. You might stumble upon videos of me dancing on The X-Factor, MTV, or alongside Beyoncé. Yet, amid these exhilarating paths, something was amiss.
I yearned for more authentic conversations, for the lively energy of Kingston, and the dawn's chorus of birdsong accompanying my "cocoa tea." I pined for home – a homecoming that resonated deep within me.
